Alan has been responsible for the development and construction of conceptual design notes for managing staff, user group appointments, critical asset designations, security control room configurations, deployment and place of CCTV camera locations, Access Control classifications and Intruder Detection systems. All of these risk mitigation measures have been annotated on architectural drawings all of which are being designed to manage, eliminate or reduce risk to an acceptable level.  John Morrison Director Excellentia Excellentia invited Alan to take part in a major project which encompassed the physical security review of twenty-one major distribution centres throughout the UK. The project timeline was to commence in May 2014 and be completed by January 2015 over a nine month period. Alan submitted a project plan grouping the distribution centres into geographical locations in order to maximum the best use of his time, whilst simultaneously reducing travelling times and accommodation costs. The project commenced on Thursday, May 1st and was completed on Saturday, November 1st, 2014. The project was delivered two months ahead of schedule and on budget, and throughout this period the lines of communication were excellent. Alan is meticulous in his reports and strives to make recommendations on a cost benefit basis for the client. The reports submitted for each of the premises were very detailed not only depicting the observations, but also presented recommendations and drawings of how to further enhance the security situation at each location. During the period in which Excellentia have engaged Alan’s services we have found him to be very knowledgeable and thoroughly professional.
